Our Company
Florida Mental Health Resources, LLC was founded in 2020 by its owner Tania P. Alfonso, a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and mental health care provider who has been working for several years in the health care industry. This office-based practice was opened with the intention to expand the availability of resources to address the growing needs for mental health services within our community. Our company aims to provide a wide range of behavioral health services organized within a comprehensive, safe, and nurturing environment to ensure continuity of care.
About the Owner
Tania P. Alfonso, APRN, PMHNP-BC
A highly motivated, flexible, and patient-focused autonomous practice board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Foreign Medical Graduate with proven expertise in child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatric care, substance abuse and dependence, forensic patients, and other specialty groups within the community. She has a background in primary, acute, long-term inpatient, and outpatient psychiatric care. Alfonso is also a bilingual service-oriented healthcare provider with many years of experience dedicated to providing compassionate and competent psychiatric services. Alfonso aims to help individuals and families with various psychiatric disorders and mental health needs to recover and reach their emotional well-being and improve the quality of their lives.

It is Florida Mental Health Resources LLC’s mission, to raise awareness about mental health issues within the community through the provision of quality and patient-centered health care, with the implementation of innovative, compassionate, and effective mental health interventions. Our practice strives to help individuals find the right path to fully make their lives meaningful and self-directed.
